Carla Fox MSW, RSW is a Registered Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting those with mental health, chronic health, and stress-related challenges. Several years ago, while experiencing her own chronic pain, Carla was introduced to Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and discovered them to be personally and professionally transformative for herself and her clients. Since participating in her first Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) group, Carla has continued to explore and expand her learning. She has participated in a weekly Mindsight Intensive class with Dr. Treyvaud at The Mindfulness Centre, as well as completing her Applied Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Chronic Pain Management through the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies in conjunction with NeuroNova Centre for Mindful Solutions.
Carla is a trained facilitator of Mindfulness-Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPMTM) and Mindfulness Based Chronic Stress Management (MBCSM) programs. She has a private practice in Oakville Ontario, and continues to offer therapy to individuals and families, while also supervising therapists beginning their careers.
