- Read Chapters 1 and 6: Searching the Brain for Clues to Pain: Turning on that flashlight.
- Take some time to think about how stressful situations influence how your body feels. Ask yourself: where do I feel the stress in my body?
- Meditate daily – practice for 20 minutes each day, making a choice between sitting meditation only or in combination with walking meditation.
