Practicing Your Preamble, Guidance, and Inquiry Skills in Meditation Delivery

Each week features themes of different mindfulness practices: Body scans; metta meditations; movement meditations; and others – download the Theme Schedule

  • Open to all mindfulness practitioners:  Register for Masterclass
  • One participant delivers a practice at each class (via sign-up)
  • Any formal practice may be offered (either voiced or recorded)
  • Host and participants provide mindful feedback following inquiry

Drop-In Class Schedule –

  • Tuesday 5:00 to 6:15 pm ET
  • Wednesday 12:00 to 1:15 pm ET
  • Friday 8:00 to 9:15 am ET

2.  Veterans’ Affairs

  • If a patient was in the armed forces, or are a family member of a veteran, therapy is often covered for them by Veterans’ Affairs

 

3.  Medical Psychotherapy Association Canada (MDPAC): https://www.mdpac.ca

  • Provides a directory of physician psychotherapists based on a patient’s location (Note that with COVID, location may not matter except for province, given internet access to sessions)

 

4.  The Medical Clinic for Person-Centred Psychotherapy: http://www.medicalpsychclinic.org/

  • Provides psychotherapy on the phone or other video platforms
