The MBCPM™ program offers a mindful tour through many vital aspects of pain management that participants can incorporate into their personalized pain management “basket” or “tool belt”. Especially where multidisciplinary pain clinics are hard to reach, this offers an alternative that can be accessed from home via video platforms with skilled facilitators guiding the process.
Learning about, and looking through, the mindfulness lens is at the core of this group program, allowing exploration and deeper understanding of what can be most impactful for each participant in managing their pain. Mindfulness opens up greater awareness of what is underlying chronic pain. The brain changes in response to these interventions, and so do immune systems.
With Mindfulness-Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPM™), you’ll learn the principles of mindfulness and meditation and how they support those suffering chronic pain and illness.
